Reading appreciation and development of reading skills: Catholic Faith and Freedom Readers. Reading Comprehension I includes Talks for youth by Pope John Paul II.

Mathematics:

Saxon Math 76. Efficient approach to math with daily review and practice of every concept already learned. Arithmetic Skills, optional math course for fourth grade through the seventh grade. Course focuses on arithmetic computation and problem solving (Amsco text).

English:

Catholic Voyages in English series. Grammar, library skills, composition. Quarterly book reports.

Spelling:

Selection of spelling and vocabulary words most likely to be misspelled.

Science:

Scientific method, matter, living things, electricity, space (Scott Foresman).

Social Studies:

Catholic texts: Frontier Nation (history): our new nation; North and South America (geography).

Penmanship:

Instruction in legible handwriting; Catholic series.
